I moved to Cook County with my wife and an assortment of indoor and outdoor animals in 2022, when we broke ground and built our home in a lovely patch of the north woods. Doing a self-build gave me a greater understanding of some of the logistics involved in construction, especially the unique nature of our remote communities. I am drawn to the strong sense of community here, and the serenity of our natural environment. I look forward to working with the HRA to improve the availability, safety, and efficiency of housing in Cook County.
